The limitation of this research was on the sample size of lecturers only and performed at private colleges, so limited the generalization of research findings. Job satisfaction was not the mediating variable to explain the effect of work motivation, competence and organizational climate on lecturer performance. Work motivation has negative and significant effect on lecturer performance. Competence, organizational climate and job satisfaction have positive and significant effect on lecturer performance. 22 proved that work motivation has positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Simple random sampling was used with the total sample of 185 lecturers. Survey method was used to collect data by cross-section.
